Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support image-guided procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will prepare procedure rooms, position patients, and operate fluoroscopic and interventional imaging equipment to assist physicians with vascular and non-vascular procedures.

You will uphold radiation safety standards, maintain sterile technique, and closely monitor patients before, during, and after interventions.

Qualifications

• Willingness to uphold radiation safety standards and sterile technique.
• Experience assisting in image-guided procedures.
• Ability to position patients for vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain a sterile field.
• Operate fluoroscopic and interventional imaging equipment under physician guidance.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and document in the EHR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support quality and safety initiatives.
