Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Interventional Radiology Technician for travel assignments in Oregon. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic/interventional procedures and requires licensure, BLS, and radiologic technology training.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year IR experience, hold current BLS, and complete any state-required exams. Eligible for benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan while on assignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Successful completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current state licensure or certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• One(1) year experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• CurrentBLS card.
• Current physical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Current TB test or chest x-ray.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex tasks operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Support interventional radiology procedures involving vascular and neuroradiology techniques.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance during procedures and with equipment handling.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

4-year AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

Current state licensure or certification

1 year Interventional Radiology experience preferred

BLS certification

Physical exam (if required)

TB test or chest x-ray
