Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in Interventional Radiology to support minimally invasive procedures with real-time imaging guidance.

The role includes preparing patients, positioning, maintaining a sterile field, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with physicians, nurses and staff. You will document procedures, perform equipment checks, and be prepared for on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with interventional radiology imaging equipment and procedures.
• Prefer candidates with IR procedure support background.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during procedures.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
