Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center seeks an Interventional Radiologist for a per diem role in Nashua, NH. The candidate will assist radiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff in minimally invasive studies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school.
• ARRT certification required or acquired.
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologists, Surgeons and nursing staff in the execution of minimally invasive studies and minor surgical procedures.
• Monitor procedure in progress, report materials consumed to physician and document complications.
• Review patient medical history, verify patient ID and reconcile physician requests with exams orders, ensuring consent.
• Assist Radiologist with minimally invasive fluoroscopic procedures as required.
• Prepare and administer IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by protocol.
• Transport and operate C-arms for procedures performed in the operating room.
