A leading hospital in Dallas is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform IR procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, works well with physicians and patients, and can handle a fast-paced procedural setting with little oversight.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning, sterile technique, safety policies, documentation, and maintaining records and equipment.

Qualificações

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (R) registration is required.
• TX-MRT certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of IR experience.
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred.
• Must be able to take call and respond within 30 minutes.

Responsabilidades

• Instructs patients and families about the test.
• Prepares patient and area for procedure by positioning and equipment setup.
• Uses sterile technique for invasive multimodality procedures.
• Adheres to safety, drug and radiation policies.
• Obtains, verifies and maintains all relevant documentation.
• Maintains imaging records in the department systems.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and compliant with quality standards.
