Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Azura outpatient vascular centers seek an experienced Interventional Radiology tech in Mishawaka, IN. You’ll assist physicians, manage interventional equipment, and ensure sterile technique throughout radiology procedures.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends or on-call requirements. Join a team focused on high-quality patient care using advanced imaging, in a setting separate from dialysis services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree desirable and Bachelor’s not required.
• ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure per state regulations.
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine materials and supplies needed for procedures.
• Set up, stock, and clean procedure room and trays with required supplies and interventional equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for procedures.
• Transport and transfer patients to and from the procedure room.
• Operate C-Arm and assist physicians during interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain and document accurate medical records and inventory; ensure HIPAA compliance.
