Qualifications

• 3–5 years of vascular experience preferred.
• HS Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program; NJ DEP license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient assessment, patient teaching, and care within scope of practice.
• Assist physician in endovascular and Cardiac/Cardiology procedures; set up sterile field, position, prep, circulate and scrub.
• Operate fluoroscope equipment, laser and related devices; ensure radiation safety per regulations.
• Prepare radiopaque materials and draw up contrast for injections.
• Complete records accurately including procedure docs, billing, supplies, and radiation exposure.
• Assist in patient positioning and transfers; check daily controls for equipment; ensure supplies are available.
• Train and act as a preceptor for new technologists and staff; participate in on-call coverage.
