Lumera Healthcare Group in Pflugerville, Texas, seeks an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to assist physicians with image-guided procedures while prioritizing patient safety and compassionate care.

You will operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound), ensure sterile technique, document procedures accurately, monitor patients, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); VI/CI certification preferred.
• Current state license as required.
• 1–2 years of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab preferred.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, and vascular interventions.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining processes, obtaining consent, and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to capture high-quality images throughout procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition, providing support during and after procedures.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper handling of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, and imaging data.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols.
