Job summary

Intermountain Health's Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a collaborative team delivering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role requires scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in a fast-paced interventional suite with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• 1 year Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
• ARRT required
• BLS required
• ACLS within 120 Days required for non-pediatric hospitals
• PALS required for only pediatric hospitals

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, atherectomy, and ablation procedures.
• Independently scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality images and support successful procedural outcomes.
• Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and procedural techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Assist with orientation and mentoring of new caregivers as needed and participate in the department's call rotation to support emergent patient care needs.
