Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS, seeks a Radiologic Technologist for the Operating Room with day shift requirements. You will perform high-quality imaging procedures and help ensure patient safety during complex scans in a hospital setting.

The role emphasizes precise calibration, contrast administration, and strict radiation safety as you collaborate with Radiologists and Cardiovascular teams. A strong credentialing background and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Kansas.
• One or more of the following: CVI/CARDIovascular Credentialing International credentials.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and calibrate imaging equipment for high-quality scans.
• Perform specialized imaging procedures in collaboration with Radiologists and Physician Assistants.
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients during procedures.
• Uphold radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
