Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an IR Tech for a 13-week assignment in the Radiology department. The role requires a Radiologic Technology credential, NYS license, and at least 1 year of IR tech experience. You will perform interventional radiology procedures, coordinate with radiologists, and ensure patient safety.

The position is full-time days, Monday–Friday, with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts. AAMA-approved education and BLS are required for handling contrast and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved 2-year program or AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience as IR Tech.
• NYS license.
• BLS certification (AHA/RQI only).

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, including angiograms and biopsies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality assurance and efficient patient flow.
• Follow infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Provide imaging services to a diverse patient population with high-quality images.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist during interventional procedures.
