Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health in Jonesboro, AR seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform interventional radiology procedures in IR, Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology lab under physician supervision.

Requirements include completion of a radiography program, ARRT(R) registration, and BLS within 14 days of hire; at least 1 year of radiology experience preferred. You will follow hospital protocols and contribute to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory.
• Receives and follows written and oral instructions; ability to plan and organize work.
• Completion of a formal radiography education program; ARRT registration expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to complex quality radiologic procedures in IR/Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology lab.
• Sets up sterile table, assembles instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials.
• Assists Radiologist with catheters, guidewires, balloons, coils, and treatments.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans per hospital protocols.
• Completes required documentation and maintains equipment and work areas for safety.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care standards.
• Completes assigned goals; performs other duties as assigned.
