Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support interventional procedures and vascular imaging at our locations. You will assist with angiography, biopsies, and venous studies, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS certification, 2+ years in cath lab/interventional settings, and BLS/ACLS. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for patient care and coordination with the medical staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS certification required and must be maintained.
• Minimum of two years of Cath Lab/Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required at time of hire.
• Experience with PACS systems and vascular C-arms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic technologist duties for vascular procedures with sterile technique and physician support.
• Apply imaging techniques and patient monitoring to ensure safe, accurate outcomes.
• Administer contrast materials and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain sterile fields and infection control during procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions for comfort and understanding.
• Input and manage patient data in PACS and EMR systems.
