Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional studies, including angiography and biopsy procedures, under established protocols.

You will position patients, select protocols, maintain radiation safety, and ensure high-quality patient care across age groups. ARRT certification and BLS are required; ARRT VI or CI preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No minimum experience required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BLS certified.
• Advanced ARRT certification in VI or CI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing interventional radiology procedures and positions patient, selects the correct protocol.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for the exams performed.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient care in line with standards.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and dose reduction principles.
• Provides patient education and communications per standards.
• Able to position and operate imaging equipment for all age groups as requested.
