Job summary

Aura Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Melrose Park area. The role involves delivering specialized nursing care to IR patients, assisting with procedures, and monitoring patient status to ensure safety and efficiency during interventions.

You will educate patients and families, document care accurately, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams to uphold quality and safety standards. A BSN is preferred and licensure in Illinois is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IR or Cath Lab experience.
• IL RN license required.
• BSN preferred, to be obtained within 5 years.
• CPR certification (BLS & ACLS) from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to IR patients, administer IV sedation and medications, monitor patient status during procedures, start IVs, manage central lines, and respond to emergencies. Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures, coordinate patient flow, educate patients and families, document care accurately, support quality and safety initiatives, and mentor new staff.

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of IR or Cath Lab experience, IL RN license, graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school (BSN preferred, to be obtained within 5 years), CPR (BLS & ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
