Job summary

Diversified Radiology in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our radiology team. The PA will work with Diagnostic Radiologists and Interventional Radiology to aid in patient care and daily clinical operations.

The role requires adapting to varied clinical scenarios, performing procedures under supervision, and assisting in imaging-guided interventions. The scope includes educational support and policy development for the PA team.

Qualifications

• Graduate level education required.
• Certification by the NCCPA.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• One year clinical experience in surgery, trauma, critical care, vascular; inpatient/outpatient consultations preferred.
• Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator certification required.
• A clean MVR is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures under general and proximate supervision and within the delineation of privileges.
• Operate computerized and diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Assist with training of new PA hires in clinical responsibilities and procedural skills.
• Collaborate with radiologists, hospital staff, and PA administration to achieve goals.
• Manage complex patients through advanced decision making, labs, radiologic studies, and clinical evaluations.
• Serve as an educational resource to staff, patients, and families.
• Contribute to policies and protocols for PA team and workflow.
• Light on-call rotation once trained; potential on-call hours every fourth week.
