Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a procedural environment and support a strong, collaborative team dedicated to patient safety.

You will assess patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, assist physicians, manage equipment, monitor patient status, and administer medications per orders.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of invasive radiology patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians in procedures.
• Ensure all appropriate equipment is available and room is prepared for procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and document findings appropriately.
• Continuously assess and communicate patient condition; act on changes.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
