Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Nurse (RN) for a full-time, in-person Day shift. The role focuses on delivering skilled nursing care in IR and NeuroIR, with responsibilities spanning pre- and post-procedure assessments, emergency response, and patient education.

The ideal candidate is a Graduate of a school of professional nursing with Virginia RN licensure and current ACLS, PALS, and BLS-HCP certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Virginia and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Assess patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Perform preexam and postexam assessments for angiography and CT procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Support education for patients and families and orient new staff.
