Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs Fredericksburg Health Care Center seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support the Radiology Service, delivering a full range of services with focus on quality and timeliness. The NP will provide advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management in alignment with VA goals.

Qualified candidates hold a post-master's certificate or a master's/doctoral NP degree, current NP licensure, and board certification.

Qualifications

• Post-master's certificate or master's/doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing; ACEN or CCNE accreditation required.
• Active, current, full, unrestricted NP license to practice in the U.S.
• Basic board certification in ANCC, AANPCB, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management.
• Practice to the full extent of education, training, and certification.
• Assist Radiology Service in delivering a full range of services emphasizing quality and timeliness.
• Support advancement of VA mission and interprofessional care.
