Job summary

StrideCare in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a registered nurse to monitor and care for patients during Interventional Radiology and Vascular procedures. You will coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and families to ensure safety and comfort.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing or BSN, active licensure in SC, ACLS/BLS certification, and experience with sedation in IR/cath labs is preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s degree in nursing or BSN.
• Two years of moderate sedation administration and recovery required.
• Two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab preferred.
• Current license to practice nursing in the state of practice.
• Minimum of six months of recent experience as a professional nurse.
• ACLS/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs.
• Analyze lab results and medical history.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove IV lines.
• Administer drugs, including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
