Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in interventional radiology procedures (angiography, embolization, stenting, biopsies, drain placements).
• Set up and operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and angiography systems.
• Prepare patients and monitor them during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument sterility.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and adjust equipment as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and safety measures.
• Document patient information and procedure details in EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Pursue continuing education in IR technology and safety.
