Job summary

MD Staff Pointe has a client in New York seeking an Interventional Radiology locum tenens physician to provide inpatient coverage. The role runs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no on-call requirements, in an EPIC EMR environment (training provided).

Responsibilities include performing biopsy, drainage, tube and line placements, nephrostomies and biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms if possible. Board certification in IR and an active NY license are required, along with ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
• Active New York medical license.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional radiology locum tenens coverage at a hospital in New York.
• Work 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no on-call requirements.
• Inpatient setting with EMR-EPIC training (provided).
• Perform listed procedures: Biopsy, Drainage, Tube placement, Line placement, Nephrostomies, Biliary drainages, Arterial angiograms if possible.
• MDSP handles travel expenses, malpractice coverage and credentialing.
