Job summary

The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting a full-time Professor (all ranks) in the Health Sciences series to join the Interventional Radiology Section. The role entails supervising residents, teaching, and leading IR services across UCLA Health facilities.

The candidate should be eligible for California licensure and ABR certification, and have completed an IR residency or fellowship with strong skills in arterial/venous interventions

Qualifications

• Eligible for California licensure and ABR certification.
• Completed IR residency or IR fellowship.
• Strong teaching interest and ability to supervise residents.
• Excellent skills in arterial/venous interventions, DVT/PE treatment, organ embolization, and cross‑sectional procedures.
• Commitment to teamwork and clinical program development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and teach interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology residents.
• Participate in IR and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Engage in community outreach to build clinical programs.
• Cover interventional radiology inpatient and outpatient services, including on-call/weekend coverage.
