Job summary

Charlotte Radiology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to work with radiologists in day-to-day operations and patient care. The role covers a range of complex procedures across multiple facilities (Pineville, Union & Union West) and requires adaptability to diverse clinical situations.

The APP will interpret information to tailor care to age-specific needs, participate in policies and protocols, supervise training, and contribute to research initiatives while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate level education required with AP credentialing.
• Certification by NCCPA and active medical licenses/certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NCMB, DEA).
• Licensure permits treatment of all ages and full scope of radiology APP duties.
• 1–3 years’ experience; surgery/trauma/critical care and inpatient/outpatient consultations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures under supervision within radiology APP scope and privileges.
• Assist with training of new APP hires on clinical responsibilities and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, staff, and referring providers to meet clinical goals.
• Conduct initial consultations, follow-ups, rounds, and H&P for radiology procedures.
• Serve as educational resource to staff and patients; contribute to policy/workflow development.
• Participate in research, data analysis, and time/workload management across service lines.
