Job summary

Charlotte Radiology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to work with radiologists and support day-to-day clinical operations across western Atrium Health facilities. The APP will assist with complex radiology procedures and clinical decisions.

The role includes initial consultations, staff training, policy development, and close collaboration with radiologists, referring physicians, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate level education is required.
• Certification by NCCPA and medical certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NCMB, DEA) are required.
• Licensure permits treatment of all ages.
• 1–3 years of experience in related clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures under supervision within radiology APP scope.
• Assist with training of new APP hires.
• Collaborate with radiologists and hospital staff to achieve goals.
• Manage complex patient care with radiology studies, labs, and H&P for procedures.
• Serve as an educational resource to staff and patients.
• Contribute to policy development and workflow improvements.
• Support time management across multiple service lines.
