Job summary

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, seeks a full-time Interventional Radiologist at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY.

The role offers collaboration with 4 dedicated IR physician assistants, a state-of-the-art biplane suite, and opportunities for scholarly teaching within a renowned public hospital system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certified or eligible in Interventional/Diagnostic Radiology.
• ACGME-accredited fellowship in interventional radiology.
• Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
• Excellent clinical acumen and collegial communication.
• Strong commitment to academic teaching and public hospital service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range image-guided interventional procedures including trauma interventions and embolizations.
• Collaborate with 4 dedicated IR Physician Assistants to streamline operations and peri-procedural care.
• Interface with Level 1 trauma surgery, critical care, oncology, vascular surgery and emergency medicine teams.
