Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a hospital located about 15 minutes outside of Phoenix, Arizona, to provide an Interventional Radiologist for locum coverage. The role involves reading general diagnostic studies and performing a broad range of interventional procedures.

Board-certified IR with the ability to read studies and perform complex interventions is required; travel, lodging, and credentialing support are provided through Medicus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified interventional radiologist with valid medical license.
• Experience reading general diagnostic studies is preferred.
• Familiarity with Powerscribe dictation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Read general diagnostic studies.
• Perform procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, biliary and venous interventions; embolization; IVC filter; fistulogram with declot.
• Possibility to perform general fluoroscopy procedures is a plus.
