Job summary

HSA Florida Physician Group, a member of HSA Hospitals, seeks a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our hospital-based program in South Florida. This is a collaborative, high-quality team focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

The role includes performing a full range of IR procedures, teaching, and participating in call coverage within a well-established hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or integrated IR training.
• Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Radiology.
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility as required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care in a high‑acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures using image guidance.
• Conduct pre-procedure evaluations and risk assessment.
• Obtain informed consent and provide counseling.
• Interpret imaging studies and report in the EMR.
• Manage periprocedural care and monitoring.
• Participate in IR call coverage for emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Ensure documentation and coding accuracy.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and QA protocols.
• Teach and supervise staff and trainees.
• Comply with bylaws and departmental policies.
• Perform additional duties to support IR service.
