Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (Optum family), seeks a board-certified radiologist with an interest in interventional radiology to join a 30+ radiologist group at the Main Campus with possible satellite rotations. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures, fluoroscopy, and diagnostic imaging, with program development to expand the IR catalog.

Early targets: UFE and PAE.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
• Accredited radiology residency training.
• Licensed or eligible for Texas medical license.
• Board certified or board eligible in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform general interventional radiology procedures from thoracentesis to limited vascular access.
• Conduct fluoroscopy and diagnostic imaging as required.
• Contribute to program development to expand current IR service offerings.
• Pursue early targets such as UFE and PAE.
