Job summary
The Specialty Alliance in Denver, Colorado is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves interpreting diagnostic imaging, performing interventional procedures, and collaborating closely with urologists and oncologists to enhance patient care. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, possess board certification in Diagnostic Radiology, and have strong procedural skills. Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training and/or certification in Interventional Radiology.
Active or eligible Colorado medical license.
Strong procedural skills and commitment to excellent patient care.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine relevant to urologic conditions.
Perform interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization, and other minimally invasive image-guided therapies.
Consult with referring urologists regarding procedural decisions and follow-up care.
Participate in quality assurance, radiation safety, and imaging protocol optimization.
Engage in patient education and shared decision-making.
Support the growth of interventional radiology services within the practice.
