Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology with primary clinical responsibilities at MelroseWakefield Hospital. This full-time academic‑practice role blends community hospital care with collaboration with Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

You will perform a broad range of IR procedures, interpret diagnostic imaging, provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations, and participate in rounds, teaching, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology fellowship.
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills suitable for a community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures, including vascular access, biopsies, drainages, embolization, and other minimally invasive therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging to support procedural planning.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations and pre-/post-procedure assessment.
• Collaborate with surgical, emergency, oncology, and primary care teams.
• Participate in rounds, multidisciplinary discussions, and teaching activities.
• Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives and program development.
