Job summary

Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, invites applications for a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. This clinical track faculty position offers autonomy within a strong academic IR division and extensive support for teaching, research, and patient care.

The role spans biopsies, drainages, vascular and oncologic interventions, with opportunities for multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• MD/DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited IR fellowship or IR residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology (IR/DR).
• Eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
• Subspecialty expertise in interventional oncology or complex vascular intervention is encouraged.
• Research in clinical/translational areas is welcome but optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided interventional procedures.
• Contribute diagnostic interpretation during lighter procedural days.
• Manage inpatient consultations and outpatient visits as a clinical subspecialist.
• Participate in site call rotation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to expand IR services.
