Pueblo Radiology Associates is a fully physician-owned, sub-specialized radiology private practice group radiology practice serving the beautiful Central Coast of California, seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our group.

Our fellowship-trained interventional radiologists practice the full spectrum of IR procedures in state of the art facilities. We perform 4-6 procedures per day with the balance of the day reading general radiology. No advanced MSK or mammography responsibilities are required.

This is a predominantly interventional position with approximately 80% IR and 20% diagnostic radiology, based near Santa Barbara. The candidate would rotate through day shifts at all three of our primary IR sites - Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital (SBCH), Dignity Health - St. John's Regional Medical Center ("Dignity Health") in Oxnard, and Community Memorial Hospital ("CMH") in Ventura.

Our interventional radiologists perform the full range of IR procedures. Types of cases include:

• PE/DVT Thrombectomy
• Radioembolization / Chemoembolization (Y90/TACE)
• Tumor Ablation (MWA, Cryoablation)
• Miscellaneous Angiography and Embolization
• Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
• Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)
• Trauma Intervention
• IVC Filter Placement / Retrieval
• Urological Intervention
• Biliary Intervention
• Portal Intervention (TIPS/CARTO/PARTO)
• Venous Access
• CT Intervention (Drains and Biopsies)
• Spine Interventions (Kyphoplasty/SpineJack/Ablation)
• Pain Interventions

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Based near Santa Barbara with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital as the primary site. Day shifts rotate through all three primary IR sites, including Dignity Health and CMH (see Coverage Sites below). Schedule: Hybrid interventional and diagnostic radiology, approximately 80% interventional radiology and 20% diagnostic, including remote diagnostic shifts. No MSK or mammography required. Call: Q4 interventional radiology call. While day shifts rotate through all three primary sites, IR call is separated between north-based Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital (SBCH) and the practice's southern sites (Dignity Health and CMH). Call is generally split into Monday-Thursday and Friday-Sunday blocks, with the post-call day off following weekend call. Clinical Support: Inpatient service and outpatient clinics supported by full-time advanced practice providers; PAs assist with outpatient consults, inpatient rounding, and minor procedures. Technology: IntelePACS, InteleOrchestrator (formerly Clario), Fluency, and RadAI Academic & Collaborative Engagement: Active participation in multidisciplinary committees and tumor boards.

COVERAGE SITES

The candidate would rotate through day shifts at all three of the group's primary IR sites across the Central Coast. Interventional call within the practice is separate for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital; the southern sites (Dignity Health and CMH) maintain a separate IR call pool.

PARTNERSHIP AND COMPENSATION

Partnership Track: Two-year track to partnership for physicians directly out of training; one-year track for candidates with relevant prior post-training experience. Associate Salary: $425,000 in year one and $450,000 in year two. Partner Compensation: Total partner compensation is highly competitive (top quartile based on MGMA data). Average partner compensation has increased year over year for the last five years. Time Off: Associates average approximately 10 weeks off per year (8 weeks vacation with additional post-call days off)
