Adelphi Staffing in Forty Fort, PA seeks an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment at a facility serving inpatients and outpatients. The role includes interventional radiology procedures and call duties with a 30-minute response, beeper-based call type, and coverage ASAP through an ongoing period.

Required: PA license or IMLC, BC/BE, ACLS/BLS, active DEA, CSR, and travel within 90 miles.

Qualifications

• Active PA license or IMLC is required.
• BC/BE certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory.
• Must be enrolled in PCF.
• Active DEA number and CSR registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IR and diagnostic or IR and fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
• Assist with Mammo/Biopsy when not performing Mammo-related work.
• Provide Mammo-related procedures and interventional radiology services as required.
• Collaborate with hospital staff for general radiology duties and urgent calls.

  • Mammography: Interventional (Needle localization & Fine needle), MRI: General (including musculoskeletal), Neuro, Joints MSK, MRA, Non-vascular intervention: Aspiration/Drainage, Percutaneous Needle Biopsies, Extractions
  • Special Procedures: Abscess drainage, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Myelography, Pain management
  • Ultrasound (advanced studies/procedures), Vascular & Interventional Radiology
