Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Director to lead interventional oncology services and advance a high-quality clinical program in Portland, Oregon.

The role focuses on growing the IO service line, mentoring trainees and clinical staff, and fostering collaborative care across Body IR. Participation in research and clinical trials is encouraged and expected.

Interventional Radiology Director (Interventional Oncology)

Lead Interventional Oncology services with a focus on high-quality clinical care and coordinated program growth. Provide interventional radiology support across Body IR, oversee and advance service delivery, and contribute to clinical trial participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert interventional radiology care for interventional oncology patients.
• Direct and develop the Interventional Oncology program, strengthening clinical capabilities and patient outcomes.
• Support Body IR services through clinical leadership and collaboration.
• Teach and mentor trainees, fellows, and clinical team members.
• Contribute to research activities and help expand interventional oncology research efforts.
• Participate in and support clinical trials related to interventional oncology.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experienced interventional radiologist with leadership capability.
• Strong clinical expertise in interventional oncology and body imaging/IR procedures.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary programs and drive service improvement.
• Excellent teaching/mentoring and communication skills.
• Research-minded with experience supporting scholarly work and clinical trials.
