Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a radiology specialist to perform cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab. The role requires RCIS or ARRT CI/VI candidates and a Nevada license.

You must be a graduate from an accredited radiology program, have BLS, and demonstrate the ability to care for patients across age groups. Prior cath lab experience and ongoing certification support are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program.
• 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab for RCIS-certified candidates or 2 years in cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT CI/VI candidates.
• Current Nevada Radiation Control License required. ARRT CI or ARRT VI registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six months.

Experience: 1-year experience in cardiac cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates.

Technical Skills / License & Certification: Current Nevada Radiation Control License required. ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification required. Other license/certification may be required by specialty/facility.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
