Hartford Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to operate digital imaging equipment and support complex procedures. The role involves patient positioning, contrast media preparation, and collaboration with physicians across imaging modalities.
It is a 100% clinical position with potential mandatory call. Candidates must hold a Connecticut Radiographer license, ARRT certification in Radiography, and BLS, with at least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist and 1–2 years IR

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Works with contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiations agents, cements, resins and embolization agents.
This position may require performing procedures in other department such as O.R. Cath lab of multiple imaging modalities. This position is clinical 100%.
May require mandatory call as needed.
Licensure / Certification / Registration: State of Connecticut Radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
Experience: At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required, 1-2 years IR experience preferred.
