Job summary

Natividad in Salinas, CA is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology Department. The role requires scrubbing in and performing diagnostic, interventional, neurovascular and vascular radiology procedures, with attention to patient safety and quality imaging.

Candidates must hold a valid California Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain before start) and ARRT registration; CRT or related certifications are highly desirable.

Natividad is seeking to fill full-time and per-diem positions for Interventional Radiologic Technologists in the Interventional Radiology Department.Under supervision, incumbents will scrub in and perform specialized and routine diagnostic, interventional, neurovascular, vascular and radiology procedures and perform other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

License/Certification: Possession of a valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the California Department of Public Health or the ability to obtain prior to start and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification as a California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), California Fluoroscopy certification, and any one of the following certifications is highly desirable:

• ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV)
• ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
• ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Experience:

One (1) year of experience performing interventional radiology procedures as a certificated Radiologic Technologist.

Education:

Graduation from a certified/accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) program.

Thorough knowledge of:

• Interventional, neurovascular, and vascular procedures
• Specialized diagnostic imaging principles, techniques, methods and equipment relative to angiography procedures
• Structural and organic anatomy, both normal and abnormal
• Radiology principles and practices including anatomy and physiology, radiation protection and physics, and radiographic positioning
