Job summary

Panoramic Health’s FKP Brandon Surgery Center seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate fluoroscopy, scrub into interventional cases, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced vascular access setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms and dialysis catheter placements, ensuring patient safety, and supporting daily procedures. ARRT certification and BLS are required; SPD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Science or radiologic technology program accepted by ARRT.
• ARRT certification required.
• CV-IR certification preferred.
• State license and/or fluoroscopy permit if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general radiology or related procedural environment.
• Prior surgical scrub duties and SPD experience preferred.
• Strong sterile technique and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for vascular access procedures and assist with post-procedure recovery and room turnover.
• Operate the C-Arm/fluoroscopy equipment during interventional procedures.
• Scrub in and assist with procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, thrombectomy, hemodialysis and catheter placement.
• Maintain a sterile field and report any breaks in sterile technique.
• Assist with positioning, patient preparation, transportation, and overall procedural support.
• Count needles, sponges, and instruments.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and maintain rooms.
• Track medications, supplies, and equipment used during procedures.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies in the room and center.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
• Assist with scheduling procedures and daily center operations.
• Provide exceptional patient service using AIDET and Panoramic Health Standards.
• Participate in community education and outreach related to vascular access.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
