Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Pulmonology program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role focuses on advanced bronchoscopy, pleural procedures, and multidisciplinary lung cancer care within a high-volume program.

The successful candidate will participate in outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, and procedural support, collaborating with thoracic surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and other specialties to deliver

Qualifications

Active NP license in Michigan or PA-C certification and licensure in Michigan.
Experience in interventional pulmonology or thoracic procedures is preferred.
Strong clinical evaluation, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate new and established patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Participate in pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up.
Coordinate care for patients undergoing advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures.
Manage patients with pulmonary nodules, suspected or confirmed lung cancer, pleural effusions, and complex pulmonary conditions.
Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary care teams.
Provide patient and family education.
Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives.
