Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group, LLC is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to support and coordinate the Interventional Pulmonology program at Wellstar-MCG Health. You will evaluate patients, prepare them for procedures, and coordinate post-procedure care with physicians, nurse navigators, and the pulmonary team.

Procedural training will be provided. The role emphasizes collaboration across anesthesia, endoscopy, and OR teams to ensure efficient scheduling and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensure required in Georgia (NP or PA).
• Acute Care certification required.
• Completion of an accredited APP training program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for IP consults and new referrals.
• Evaluate and triage patients for Interventional Pulmonology procedures.
• Complete H&Ps, order labs/imaging, oversee inpatient/outpatient care.
• Coordinate pre- and post-procedure processes with IP team.
• Collaborate with Anesthesia, Endoscopy, and OR for scheduling.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures.
