Job summary

University of Minnesota is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatry Physician for a clinical track faculty role at Assistant to Full Professor level. The 0.9 clinical FTE provides care within the Interventional Psychiatry services, including TRD management with TMS, ECT, VNS, ketamine, and psychedelics at MHealth Fairview.

The position blends clinical care with scholarly activity, resident supervision, and potential research involvement, in a nationally recognized interventional psychiatry program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry training program.
• Board eligible or certified with the ABMS.
• Licensed or able to obtain medical license and DEA in Minnesota and meet credentialing requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge in interventional psychiatry.
• Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional psychiatric adult outpatient services at the Saint Louis Park clinic and UMMC West Bank Hospital.
• Collaborate with outpatient team and clinical leadership to deliver evidence-based services.
• Work with leadership to advance clinical, education, and research missions.
• Partner with administrative leadership to maintain high-quality, patient-centered care and expand interventional psychiatry services.
• Lead by example, engaging learners and staff to foster a positive, excellence-driven work environment.
