Job summary
Barton Associates is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician for a 50-day assignment in Alaska. The role is outpatient with 8am to 5pm hours, focusing on injections and various procedures in a Surgery Center.
Required board certification in PM&R and experience with non-operative MSK cases. EMR is Epic; ambulatory center setting with fluoroscopic spinal procedures available. Strong travel benefits and ongoing travel opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Must be able to perform injections.
- EMR: Epic.
- Outpatient clinical work only.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinical work Monday to Friday (8am–5pm).
- Perform injections and other procedures within the Surgery Center.
- Manage non-operative musculoskeletal medicine cases.
- Conduct spine evaluations and management.
- Address joint and soft tissue conditions.
- Electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) preferred.
- Ultrasound-guided injections preferred.
- Use an accredited ambulatory surgery center for fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures.
