Job summary

University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center seeks an Interventional Pain (IP) Technologist to support our clinic by operating C-arm equipment for radiographs and advanced fluoroscopic procedures. You will work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role includes assisting with training of new hires starting in year 2, contributing to patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes for our patients.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Current Vermont state license is required.

JOB SUMMARY

The Interventional Pain (IP) Technologist demonstrates progressive knowledge and a sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the Interventional Pain Clinic. The IP Technologist operates c-arm equipment to perform routine radiographs and advanced fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of the Anesthesiologist. The IP Technologist may assist in the clinical instruction of new hires beginning at year 2.

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.

EXPERIENCE

ARRT certified and hold a current license with the State of Vermont.
