Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Alamogordo, NM seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management physician to join a growing team. The role focuses on expanding access to interventional procedures and reducing opioid reliance, with access to a GE ultrasound for image-guided care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, have anesthesia background, and be fellowship-trained in Pain Management. Spine stimulator experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management physician
• Background in Anesthesia or related specialty
• Fellowship-trained in Pain Management with fellowship completed

Responsibilities

• Expand access to interventional pain management procedures
• Perform interventional procedures (e.g., radiofrequency ablations, epidurals, medial branch blocks)
• Collaborate with an onsite surgery center and EMR systems to support high-quality, image-guided care
