Job summary

Atlas Search, a well-established orthopedic and pain management group in Central New Jersey, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to split time between hospital rounds and a busy outpatient clinic, with the chance to first-assist in minimally invasive spine surgery.

The base salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, with potential bonus discussed at offer. NJ NP/PA licensure is required; pain management/orthopedic/OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ NP license (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) or NJ PA license required.
• Pain management, orthopedic, or OR experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Round on inpatients and complete consults at partner hospital, including postoperative, cancer, and pain patients.
• Perform histories and physicals and write pre- and post-operative orders.
• See outpatient clinic patients for image reviews, procedure follow-ups, and therapy evaluations.
• Independently assess patients and order labs, imaging, consults, injections, and surgeries.
• Prescribe medications per NJ law, including controlled substances with DEA authorization.
• Assist in surgical cases as opportunity arises.
• Partner with attending physicians and care team on treatment plans.
• Grow as a clinician in a group focused on minimally invasive care.
