Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist or PM&R Physician to lead their Interventional Pain Medicine program in Metairie Terrace. The selected candidate will oversee the ACGME-accredited fellowship, provide comprehensive pain management care, and engage in teaching and research activities.

Qualifications include board certification in Anesthesiology or PM&R and fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management. The position comes with a competitive compensation package and is part of a committed academic environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology or PM&R.
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the fellowship program, including curriculum development.
• Provide interventional and comprehensive pain management care.
• Commit to teaching, mentorship, coaching, and research activities.
• Perform administrative duties related to budget, scheduling and reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships within an expanding referral network.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems for patient care.
