Qualifications

• MD required with in-depth knowledge of pain disorders.
• Ability to evaluate patients with difficult pain disorders.
• Experience prescribing medications for pain problems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tests to pinpoint pain sources.
• Proficiency with procedures such as nerve blocks and spine injections.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients according to best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide evidence-informed medical and interventional pain management.
• Utilize fluoroscopy or ultrasound to perform interventions.
• Evaluate patients' history and identify beneficial procedures with multimodal pain care.
• Identify pain sources, conduct tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and educational events.
