Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and groups.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources and acts as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote quality outcomes.
• Supports patient safety, privacy, and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
