Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to assist physicians during interventional endoscopic procedures. You will help RNs and patients, prepare the procedure room, gather supplies, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include documenting staff and scopes, assisting in emergencies, and supporting cross-disciplinary teams. A High School Diploma and CPR within 90 days are required; healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Healthcare experience preferred and NH Medical Technician Registry may be required if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Gastroenterologists, Pulmonologists and General Surgeons during interventional Endoscopic procedures.
• Support RNs and patients; prepare procedure rooms and gather supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and maintain a safe environment.
• Document staff, scopes used, and specimens; participate in handoffs.
• Remain calm in emergencies and assist in urgent equipment preparation.
